Emma Butterworth is a composer, conductor, cellist and all round Renaissance woman. After completing her degree in Archaeology and Anthropology, Emma continued to develop her interest in the arts and culture by pursuing her enduring passion for music. She later completed an MA in Composition for Film and TV at Bristol University.  Emma has worked as a session musician and singer and is able to bring her understanding of popular and folk music, combined with her deep connection with the symphonic orchestral sound to create scores that are both contemporary and timeless.
